seal install tool. These tools, used with their approiate size seals, prevent damage to the seals when installing them into small, closed diameter gland openings or deep set rod grooves. The tool works by bending the seal inside itself, making the diameter smaller, allowing the seal to be set into the seal grove and then by opening the tool back up, and removing it, the seal is installed.
